A Carved Wood Seal Box and Cover of square section, the top plinth of the cover carved with a square panel with indented corners enclosing various gilt floral roundels, circled by stylized kuilong and chrysanthemum heads and further surrounded by a overlapping chrysanthemum leaf border, the other four sides decorated similarly, the stepped base having low relief carved scrolled decoration. Height 7 1/4 x width 7 5/8 x depth 7 5/8 inches.
