An Art Deco Gold, Sapphire, Enamel and Agate Desk Clock Set, Cartier Paris, Circa 1920, consisting of a wedge form carved translucent grey agate base with grooved pen rest inset with a circular clock, the two section silvered dial with central guilloche sunburst pattern and outer matte finish signed Cartier Made in France, Roman numerals, gold cathedral hands, the bezel accented with black enamel banding and four round cabochon cut sapphires at the compass points, the desk clock measuring approximately 11.40 x 7.30 x 2.86 cm in its entirety, together with a collapsible 18 karat yellow gold mechanical pencil signed Cartier Paris.Accompanied by the original red case signed Cartier with fitted compartments for the clock and pencil.
