Lot Description
A group of eight Chinese Export porcelain tablewares from the "Araujo de Acebedo Service," made for the Portuguese Market, circa 1750
All decorated with armorial crest flanked by two putti and surmounted by crown, with bannerette below inscribed, "Ad Araujo," with gilt accents, and small reserves bearing bucolic scenes with fishermen, farmers with cows, and deer, comprising a covered tureen, a covered entree dish, two soup plates, a plate, and three saucers, the undersides bearing accession numbers, 79.500.14-1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, and labels with old Winfield Foundation accession numbers.
