In part: "Know all men by these present that I Mildred Dixon in consideration of the sum of one dollar to me hand paid by my son John Dixon do [indecipherable] make over to him all my right and title to three negroe Boys viz. Lewis, James, and William..."

Court order to certify on verso names this document a "deed of gift."
