[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. 10 assorted portraits housed in frames including Very Rare Union examples.

Sixth plate daguerreotype portrait of a woman wearing a tall bonnet, gold-highlighted jewelry, and a plaid dress. A vase of intricately hand-tinted flowers rests atop the table next to her. (Significant tarnishing, some fading, spotting.) Housed in a wooden frame under a bejeweled mat. -- Half plate tintype portrait of a woman sitting in a fringed studio chair. (Minor spotting.) Housed in a Very Rare Union frame, Branches of Leaves and Flowers [Berg 7-12] (soiling, surface wear). -- Cabinet card portrait of a woman housed in another example of the Very Rare Union frame, Branches of Leaves and Flowers [7-12] (some nicking, losses to verso, missing hardware). -- And 7 other framed images including 4 daguerreotypes including 4 daguerreotypes and 3 ambrotypes, ranging in size from half plate to ninth plate. One may be a modern ambrotype. Conditions vary. -- Together, 10 assorted portraits housed in frames.
