[MILITARIA] Collection of military insignia and cap devices from the Estate of Carroll J. Delery III
Lot comprised of approx. 100 items, including the following highlights:
Mixed group of approx. 75 brass cavalry and infantry insignia, mostly Bannerman restrikes. -- Forage cap cavalry insignia and "H" company letter mounted on green felt. -- Civil War-era musician's embroidered, gold wire horn kepi insignia. -- Riker mount containing XIX Corps pin inscribed "NY117," accompanied by modern tag furnished by consignor identifying the pin as a 117th New York Corps pin with fragment of regimental flag (no further provenance accompanies the artifacts confirming this identification). -- Mixed group of 11 cloth insignia, majority likely produced post-Civil War. -- And more.
