[CIVIL WAR]. 3 tintypes of non-commissioned officers incl. an infantry co. first sergeant.

Ninth plate tintype portrait of an infantry first sergeant indicated by the chevrons and lozenge on his frock coat sleeves. He wear a forage cap and stared directly into the camera lens. (Soiling and spotting to plate; unsealed.) Housed in a pressed paper case (repair to spine, surface wear). -- Sixth plate tintype portrait of a wide-eyed Union sergeant with a bushy goatee. He wears a frock coat with sleeve chevrons and gold-highlighted buttons. (Image and/or glass somewhat clouded, some spots of loss around edges, spotting to mat; resealed.) Housed in a half pressed paper case (cracks, surface wear/loss). -- Sixth plate tintype seated portrait of a Union corporal wearing a frock coat and a short mustache. (Notable horizontal crease to lower right, other lighter creases, occasional spotting, spotting to mat; unsealed.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case (split at spine, surface wear). -- Together, 3 tintypes of NCOs.
