Receiver is struck with WINCHESTER maker marking with forward receiver exhibiting standard model and caliber marks reading U.S. CARBINE/CAL. .30 M1. Barrel shows standard W stamp indicating Winchester manufacture, and mounts Type III barrel band marked AI. Item features the rotary safety mechanism, dished bolt, and low wood stock.
