Lot Description
**Remington Model 11 US Marked
World War II
12 Gauge. 19.5" barrel length. SN: 481163. 2.75" chamber length. Cylinder bore. Blued metal finish overall with polished bolt set in smooth walnut semi-pistol grip stock and forend mounting Remington marked synthetic buttplate. Long-recoil operated semi-automatic shotgun fed by an underbarrel tube magazine. Item shows standard make and model marks including MODEL 11 to the bolt, and light engraving of a duck to the left receiver and pheasant to the right. Upper barrel and left receiver struck U.S. followed by the {Ordnance Bomb} stamp. Left receiver further marked MILITARY FINISH. Standard CYL marking to the barrel. Buttstock is unmarked and most likely replaced. Barrel most likely cut down from 20".
