Signed WWII-era Japanese Gunto Blade
27.5" nagasa. 37" overall. Shinogi-zukuri blade iwth a single hole nakago that is signed on both sides with long mei and a Showa stamp. Mei on one side possibly gimei, it looks very crude. Blade has a chu-kissaki and ihori mune, but other characteristics have been obscured by a bad polish or attempt to clean blade. It is only mounted in a black lacquer rayskin saya.
