WWII-era Japanese Wakizashi in Shin Gunto Mounts
22.75" nagasa. 40" overall. Shinogi-zukuri blade with a nakago that has a large and small mekugi-anas. Blade features a chu-kissaki, no visible boshi, ihori mune, muji hada, and a hamon that appears to be midare-gunome or midare-sanbonsugi with nie. Blade is mounted in shin-gunto koshirae including a black painted steel saya with sageo, copper mounts, brown ito, white same, three piece alloy seppa sets, and a gilt cherry blossom tsuba.
