Machine made curved single edged blade with single fullers, shinogi zukuri style blade with brass habaki and tsuba mounting cast aluminum tsuka patterned after the fittings of a standard Shin Gunto sword. Hilt is patterned to resemble one with a rayskin handle wrapped in silk cord, and sakura menuki, and is painted to create this effect. Item features a spring catch above the back of the blade that locks into its all metal scabbard. Serial number to the blade is 147701, and does not match the saya, which is numbered 148483.
