Lot Description

3 US Model 1905 Bayonets & Scabbard
World War I / World War II

All items show blade lengths of ~15.875" with 21.75" overall with scabbards and hilts. One bayonet is nickel plated with walnut grips, and displays the R.I.A./{Ordnance Bomb}/1906 mark to the left ricasso and US to the right. Comes with a leather scabbard with articulated steel hanger and throat that is struck R.I.A./1906/E.H.S.. Second example is marked R.I.A./{Ordnance Bomb}/1918 with US on the opposite side and a serial number of 342417. Comes with a canvas wrapped scabbard, and shows a Parkerized finish, indicating it was refinished in World War II. Third bayonet is marked SA/{Ordnance Bomb}/1907 to one side and US over the serial to the right. Comes in an OD green fiber scabbard struck USN/MK1 on the throat.
