Barrel serial number has been force matched to the frame. Barrel struck with a bracketed two-line address reading ADDRESS SAML COLT/NEW YORK CITY, while the left frame is struck COLTS/PATENT. Inspector initials N and S appear on the triggerguard. Grips with rounded edges indicative of sanding.
