Single shot percussion smoothbore musket with fixed rear notch and front blade sights. Lockplate is marked with the {Rampant Lion} of the East India Company. Barrel struck 2/8 to the right flank with the left showing {Crown/V} and {Crown/GP} London proof markings. Handguard nosecap features spring-catch for mounting a bayonet, and a front sight doubling as the lug. Wood is unmarked and has been sanded. Comes with a reproduction sling.
