Bolt action smoothbore repeating trainer rifle built using an Arisaka Type 38 action. Receiver ring is struck with the {Anchor and Sakura} symbol of the Imperial Japanese navy with further inventory markings on the stock and a leather sling.

2.) 6.5x50mm blank rounds. 31.5" barrel length. SN: 16221. Blued military finish. Hardwood stock has a plain semi pistol grip and forearm, with grasping grooves and handguard. Bolt action rifle with an adjustable folding ladder peep rear sight and blade front sight. Item features an internal box magazine, double sling swivels, bayonet lug forend, and a slotted head cleaning rod. Markings include Imperial Japanese {Anchor and Sakura} crest marked to receiver. Stock is marked with boxed kanji on right side of butt, and circled kanji on left side. This rifle is smoothbore and meant to fire training rounds only.
