British Pattern 1887 Mk.III Martini-Henry Bayonet with Scabbard
18.25" spear point, single-edged blade without fuller, 23.625" overall. 5.375" steel hilt with 3.875" steel cross guard and forward swept lower disc quillon. Pressed checkered leather grip scales secured by rivets. Obverse ricasso marked {Broad Arrow}/WD and with a {Crown}/35/W inspection mark. Reverse ricasso marked {Crown}/VR/'89/WILKINSON/SWORD COMPANY/LONDON. Reverse guard marked 498. Includes brass mounted leather scabbard.
