Right side of the stock ring is marked MA/LITHGOW/SMLE/III*/1942 with further inspection marks struck on the receiver ring including the Australian {Crown/Crossed Flags/L} and an MA marking. Bayonet lug, barrel band, trigger, and triggerguard are stamped BA. Buttplate, rear sight protector, and leaf are struck OA with the latter additionally marked 43. Right stock has been struck with armorer marking R/MA/7/46. Right butt further marked with MA factory marking followed by III* HV/1942 mark. Importer mark to right receiver reads JJCO/NY NY .303 B. Comes with an unmarked British pattern khaki canvas sling.
