Item shows features typical of Japanese last-ditch rifles, including fixed rear aperture and barleycorn front blade sights, roughly machined components, brass hex nut retaining the forward sling loop, and cylindrical bolt knob. Left receiver is struck with the {Nagoya Arsenal} marking and {10th Series} marking. The Chrysanthemum has been ground off, and the rifle shows no type markings. Serial numbers match on the receiver, bolt, safety knob, and firing pin. Item is missing the forward tang screw.
