Lot Description
Randall Model 5 Camp & Trail Knife with Staghorn Handle and Sheath
4" blade length. 4.375" hilt. 8.875" overall with sheath and hilt. Single-edge Bowie knife with unsharpened false edge and the first 1" of the back of the blade notched for thumb placement. Item mounts a staghorn handle and brass guard over a hidden tang with black white and red spacers. Left blade is struck RANDALL MADE/ORLANDO, FLA. between {Sabers}. Comes in a leather belt loop sheath with paracord tiedown marked RANDALL MADE/KNIVES/ORLANDO, FLA. on the obverse side.
Founded by Bo Randall in 1938, Randall Made Knives soon became well known for their quality and durability. Thousands of his hand-made knives were acquired by American military personnel during World War II, with Randall devising his first numerically assigned models especially for military service.
