Two Chinese Export Blue and White Porcelain 'Tea Cultivation' Plates, Qianlong Period
清乾隆 青花外銷製茶圖賞盤兩件
Qianlong Period (1735-1796)

Each centered with a scene showing one stage of tea cultivation, within a border decorated with rococo shell scrolls, the larger example numbered 23 in underglazed blue to the underside, the smaller example numbered 5.
Diameters 12 7/8 and 9 in., 32.7 and 22.8 cm.
