Grip panels feature bronze medallions with the left marked 1917 1918/WORLD WAR I surrounding {United States Eagle} above a banner reading BELLEAU WOOD. The right grip panel mounts a medallion featuring {US Army "Doughboy"} surrounded by the names of all the Allied nations and above a banner reading THE GREAT WAR FOR CIVILIZATION. Item comes in a wood display case painted OD green with the interior face reading World War I Commemorative Colt .45 Automatic Pistol with the Rainbow banner to the upper right corner.
