** Mosin Nagant M91/30 PU Sniper Rifle Post-War Rebuilt
World War II
7.62x54mmR. 29" barrel length. SN: II3886. Blued metal finish with polished bolt set in a full length Birchwood flat wrist stock and mounting a 3.5X PU telescopic sight. Bolt action repeating rifle featuring a side mounted scope mount that overhangs the iron sights, permitting both the scope and the adjustable rear notch and fully hooded front post to be operated without dismounting the optic. Receiver shows the {Arrow within Triangle} mark indicating it was manufactured by Izhevsk Arsenal, along with the 1943 date marking. The left receiver displays the serial number assigned by the importer and reported above with the original serial number matching on the barrel, bolt, and scope base. Number is force matched on the magazine floorplate. Scope base displays both the serial number of the rifle and the serial number for the currently mounted scope applied via electro-pen. Top of the scope shows the {Star/Sickle and Hammer} marking followed by 91/30 mark and the serial number No. 05724. The receiver and the scope both show a {Boxed X} marking indicating it was put through post-war refurbishment. Comes with a Soviet cleaning kit without bore brush, a canvas sling showing weak production stamps, and a cleaning rod. Importer marking to the right barrel reads C.A.I. ST ALB. VT/M91/30 RUSSIA 762X54R.
