Lot Description

**Japanese Nambu Type 14

8x22mm Nambu. 4.61" barrel length. SN: 22294. Silver painted refinish overall with red painted left and unpainted right grips mounting standard rear notch and front blade sights missing firing pin spring and guide. Short-recoil operated striker action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Right frame is marked with the {Nagoya Arsenal} marking followed by mark indicating this pistol was manufactured by the {Kokobunji Factory}. The left frame is marked with the 11.9 manufacturing code indicating the handgun was manufactured in September of 1936. Serial numbers match on the frame, barrel, bolt, cocking piece, and locking lug. Firing pin is not numbered, and the serial numbers on the grips are illegible. Item is missing the firing pin spring and guide, and is thus inoperable. Comes with one non matching magazine.
