(iv), 363, (1), (12), 56, (2), 16, (136), (14) pp.; lacking A1 at front (cancelled blank). General title-page dated 1611, Second part dated 1613 (colophon of that part dated “16012”, i.e. 1612), “Mother Hubberds Tale” dated 1613, other sectional title-pages dated 1611; B3 recto, stanza one begins “Young Knight”; R3 recto, catchword "And". General title-page illustrated within allegorical woodcut border; numerous woodcut initials, head- and tail-pieces, and ornamental woodcut devices throughout text. Full contemporary brown calf, red morocco spine label, stamped in blind and in gilt, discreetly rebacked, joints and boards rubbed, extremities lightly worn; all edges trimmed; general title-page and dedication leaf repaired along gutter, fore-edge of dedication leaf repaired, foxing and soiling to same; contemporary ownership signature of Evan Edwards on title-page, wear to same from now removed ownership signatures; scattered light spotting to text; small loss in top corner of pp. 301-306, but not affecting text; small loss in bottom corner of pp. 313/314 and 329/330, but not affecting text; contemporary inscriptions at bottom of A2 at front, recto of Hh6, and A6; other scattered marginalia.
