A George III sterling silver creamer together with a pair of Sheffield plate sauce tureens, the creamer by Peter and Ann Bateman, London, 1795, the pair of sauce tureens late 18th / early 19th century
The creamer of Classical form on footed base, with bright-cut decoration including armorial crest in the form of a ship and banner inscribed, “Spero Meliora,” marked to underside; the pair of sauce tureens of Classical form, each bearing armorial crest and banner inscribed, “Consilio Et Animis,” apparently unmarked.
