A fine original illustration by Edward Gorey depicting two of his Figbash characters in his play English Soup. It was first performed at the Contuit Center for the Arts, in Cape Cod, in 1998, and then traveled later that same year to Storyopolus, a Beverly Hills bookstore and art gallery, where five sold-out shows were performed. A limited edition lithograph depicting the same image was available at Storyopolus and the Gotham Book Mart, presumably based on this illustration.
