A handsome copy of John Speed's map of the Roman Empire, encompassing the lower half of Europe, the British Isles, parts of North Africa and the Middle East, and Germany labeled at top. With three decorative borders, including bird's eye views of Rome, Geneva, Jerusalem, Venice, Constantinople, and Alexandria, and two side borders depicting Roman dress.
