Lot Description
A Federal carved maple tall case clock, Works, signed Timothy Chandler (1762-1848), Concord, NH, circa 1800
With arched hood having carved fretwork, three brass ball and steeple finials, and columns to front corners, the enamel painted face with roundel depicting lady holding dove and decorated with roses to each quadrant, inscribed, "Timo. Chandler/ Concord," the case with molded top, plain case door, the base with waist molding, and molded base on shaped bracket feet.
