Lot Description

A group of three silhouettes: Chief Justice and Mrs. Jeremiah Sullivan Black and a child, The child dated, "1834," the pair circa 1850s

The first two, identified as Jeremiah Sullivan Black (1810-1883) and his wife, Mary Forward Black (1819-1897), together with a third full-length watercolor and ink profile of a little boy, signed, "TD," and identified on verso as "William Dodd, when 5 years old" and dated, "Dec. 25th 1834."
