[Declaration of Independence] [Delaware] Read, George Autograph Document, signed

(New Castle County, Delaware), June 30, 1784. Single sheet, 5 1/2 x 8 1/4 in. (140 x 210 mm) (sight). Autograph document, boldly signed by Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Delaware, George Read, certifying a warrant from the Court of Appeals for William Boyce to answer to Edward Wahol for a plea of 24 pounds and ten shillings. Toned; dampstaining in top right; wear along bottom edge; small open tear at center, affecting some letters. In mat and in frame, unexamined out of frame, 13 1/4 x 16 in. (337 x 406 mm).
