A two-tier Japanese lacquer “incense game” box with accoutrements 日本双层漆盒 Edo period, 18th-19th century ?? ???????

Decorated with hiramaki-e blossoms of orchid, chrysanthemum, pine, peony, and bamboo to the cover; all against a roiro ground; the fittings including two small censers, an ink stone box and internal cover, a two-tier mother of pearl-inlaid inlaid stand; a grid game board, a slip box, and two more additional rectangular boxes.
