Lot Description

A group of ten household items late 18th / 19th century

Comprising a Queen Anne carved and turned tiger maple candlestand, likely New England; a tin punchwork coffeepot decorated with potted flowers, Pennsylvania; an adjustable tinware lamp with blown glass shade; three woven rye baskets; three fraktur birth records: the first with oval roundel inscribed and dated, "Mary Hunewell/ Born November 11 1779," surrounded by floral motifs, ink and watercolor on paper, framed, the second inscribed and dated, "Elizabeth Grub 1832," depicting tulips surmounted by three compass circle patterns, framed, and the third inscribed and dated, "Maria Diestrand s estrament gesehriben den 10 ren Marz, 1846," decorated with floral motifs, ink and watercolor on paper, framed, all possibly Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; and a printed and hand-colored fraktur house blessing, Samuel Bauman (1788-1820), Ephrata, Pennsylvania, framed.
