[Prints] Audubon, John James Rose-breasted Grosbeak

London: R. Havell, (1834). Hand-colored engraving with aquatint and etching; on J. Whatman watermarked paper, dated 1834. Engraved, printed, and colored by R. Havell after J.J. Audubon’s watercolor. Elephant folio, 38 x 25 1/4 in. (96 x 64 cm). Scattered light soiling in margins; one-inch closed tear, bottom edge; scattered light spotting; small chips, bottom right corner and top left corner. In mat and in frame, 41 3/4 x 33 5/8 in. (106 x 85 cm).
