[Prints] Audubon, John James Pigeon Hawk

London: R. Havell, 1830. Hand-colored engraving with aquatint and etching; on J. Whatman watermarked paper, dated 1830. Engraved, printed, and colored by R. Havell after J.J. Audubon’s watercolor. Elephant folio, 39 3/8 x 26 3/8 in. (100 x 67 cm). Sheet lightly toned; scattered light soiling in margins; scattered short closed tears along edges; scattered light spotting; toned along bottom edge. In mat and in frame, 41 3/4 x 33 5/8 in. (106 x 85 cm).
