According to BAL it is unclear whether printings after the first were issued by Thayer and Eldridge, or later by Worthington. Worthington purchased the plates from Thayer and Eldridge ca. 1879, so "it seems probable that all copies lacking the printer's and stereotyper's imprints on the copyright page were published by Worthington after 1879, but it is not impossible that the imprints were removed by Thayer and Eldridge before the second printing of June, 1860."
