Translated from the Swedish by John Reinhold Forster. 8vo. xvi, (viii), 400; 352; viii, 310, (14) pp. Eight-page subscriber's list in first volume. Illustrated with four (of six) engraved plates and one large engraved folding map; lacking two plates in first volume. Contemporary full speckled brown calf, stamped in gilt, red and black morocco spine labels, front board of first volume virtually detached, front and rear joints and extremities of each volume rubbed, spine ends variously chipped; red speckled edges; scattered minor spotting to text.
