Illustrated with two double-page maps, eight engraved plates (one hand-colored), and one geographical chart; each plate with original tissue guard. Contemporary three-quarter speckled calf over original drab paper-covered boards, original paper cover label, spine and extremities worn and rubbed; front and rear boards rubbed, scattered soiling to same; all edges trimmed; prelims and rear blanks and endpapers heavily foxed; scattered light to moderate foxing to plates, offsetting to same.
