English and German School 19th and 20th Century A group of five portrait miniatures of children

Comprising a portrait of recumbent George Lascelles, by Elizabeth Brockbank (English, 1882-1949), dated "1925", with label verso inscribed in ink, 'George Lascelles elder son of H.R.H. Princess Mary/ by Elizabeth Brockbank 1925/ Painted at Goldsborough together with three others bought by H.R.H./ This is a replica of one of them./ Never exhibited, at the desire of the Princess,' watercolor, gilt locket case; a portrait of a boy wearing lederhosen, German School, early 20th century, watercolor, framed; a portrait of a blond child in a white dress, by Annie Dixon (English, 1817-1901), signed and dated, 'A. Dixon 1882,' watercolor, framed; a color-enhanced photographic porcelain plaque depicting a seated young child holding a bell, likely early 20th century, framed; and a memorial portrait of Norton Chipman Cowden, with ink inscription verso, 'Portrait of Norton Chipman Cowden/ second child of ....Cowden/ died in infancy about 1840,' and label verso, 'Ashford Fine Arts/ 1321 Washington Street, AT 9988,' oil on canvas, framed.
