[Autographs & Manuscripts] Rodney, Caesar Printed Indenture, annotated

Kent County, Delaware, June 1, 1771. 3 1/8 x 10 in. (79 x 254 mm). Partially-printed indenture, between American Founding Father, Caesar Rodney, and William Leatherberry, for land in Mill Creek, Kent County, Delaware; annotation and signature on verso completely in Rodney's hand, indicating payment in full of 40 pounds principal, dated March 1st 1775, Dover, Delaware. Separated in three pieces along original folds; presumed remnant from a larger document, lacking upper and lower portions, but with no loss to Rodney's annotations on verso.
