Kinderhook, (New York), March 22, 1856. Approximately 2 3/4 x 6 in. (69 x 152 mm). Partially printed Bank of Kinderhook check, signed by Van Buren, ordering the payment of $18 to A. Burninger & Co; cancellation cuts at center, but not affecting signature. Lot includes an engraved portrait of Van Buren.
