Rome, (New York), September 15, 1832. 4to. 1 p. on one sheet folded to make four pages. 9 7/8 x 7 3/4 in. (250 x 196 mm). Autograph letter, signed by Van Buren to Thomas W. Olcott. Creasing from original folds, one inch separation along top horizontal fold on pp. 1/2, and a three inch separation on same fold on pp. 3/4. Lot includes a postcard portrait of Van Buren.
