A group of five silver-mounted canes Various dates 19th/early 20th century

Comprising a silver-mounted faux grained briarwood cane, monogramed "ESD" to handle terminal; an English silver-mounted bamboo cane, the handle terminal engraved "Wm Spencer," the silver marked with maker's mark JA, Birmingham, 1908, missing ferrule; a silver and malacca walking stick, the silver handle decorated in the rococo style, the white metal collar with with blank cartouche, the silver apparently unmarked; a silver and mahogany walking stick, the silver handle with shield reserve monogrammed "ME," the silver apparently unmarked, with modern rubber ferrule; and a Victorian silver-mounted ebonized wood photographic walking stick, the handle opening to reveal two photographic portraits, one of a man the other a woman, the silver marked with maker's mark JH, Birmingham, 1888.
