Wu Dacheng (1835-1902) 1st edition (later reprinted in 1919), printed lithographically in Shanghai by the Tongwen Bookshop in “the Jizhou year of Guangxu” (1889), all bound into four octavo volumes, sewn with plain brown paper covers bearing printed tissue title labels, and enclosed in the original blue cloth box with its front and spine labels. Including numerous line illustration of ancient jades. NOTE: The present volumes are among the most important Chinese contributions to the study of ancient jades prior to the 20th century.
