Reprint ("A New Edition, carefully revised and corrected"). 8vo. 66, (2), 232; (4), 318 pp. Founding Father John Dickinson's copy, with his signature on title-page of each volume; book-plate of Dickinson's grandson, Dr. John Dickinson Logan (1817-81), on front paste-down of each volume. Illustrated with frontispiece in first volume. Three-quarter brown calf, joints and spines rubbed, chipping and wear at spine ends, 1 1/4 in. gouge at bottom corner of first volume, stamped in blind and in gilt, over marbled paper-coverd boards; matching marbled edges and endpapers; scattered minor spotting.
