New York: W.J. Watt & Company, (1910). First edition, first issue. 8vo. (vi), 314 pp. Inscribed by Wodehouse on front free endpaper: "To Mr. Mathis/with the author's compliments/P.G. Wodehouse." Illustrated with frontispiece and four plates. Original pictorial black cloth-covered boards, slightly cocked, small abrasion at bottom of rear board, spine and extremities very lightly faded, stamped in gilt, in blind, olive-green, yellow, and with round illustrated paper onlay on front board; all edges trimmed; very light toning and spotting to endpapers.
