Wodehouse, P.G. The Intrusion of Jimmy

New York: W.J. Watt & Company, (1910). First edition, first issue. 8vo. (vi), 314 pp. Inscribed by Wodehouse to his mother, one month after publication, on front free endpaper: "To Ma/with love from/Plum/June 1910," with a small drawing of a stick figure by him next to date. Illustrated with frontispiece and four plates. Original pictorial black cloth-covered boards, rubbed, spine faded, stamped in gilt, in blind, olive-green, yellow, with round illustrated paper onlay on front board; all edges trimmed; bottom portion of front free endaper excised, with remnants of erased Wodehouse signature and inscription on remaining upper portion, scattered spotting to text, printer's error on p. 282; in black cloth-covered fall-down-back box.
