Finely bound, complete with half-title and index, in contemporary three-quarter brown calf over marbled boards, stamped in gilt, marbled endpapers and edges; rebacked with original backstrip neatly laid down; some rubbing to extremities, darkening to bottom corners, bottom edge of rear board with a red stain; some offsetting from plates, minor dampstaining to lower margin of text block, in places affecting a portion of the text and plates.
