A Chinese Jizhou "Tortoiseshell"-splashed teabowl Southern Song dynasty
Of deep rounded sides flaring out from the foot, covered overall with a glossy dark brown glaze accented with random ochre splashes transmuting to a cafe au-lait tone, all finishing just above the knife-pared foot, unglazed revealing the buff body, cloth box.
