Group of six Victorian gold and gem-set hairwork mourning pins 19th century
Two with garnet surrounds, one with oval reserve set with hair surrounding portrait of a woman's face; four with onyx surrounds: one of teardrop form, the reverse inscribed, "WLG/ WJLG/ and/ JLG"; a second of oval form (lacking hairwork), the reverse inscribed, "Mrs. M. Phillips/ &/ Wm P. Walley"; and a third of rectangular form (lacking hairwork), the reverse inscribed, "Elizh/ Holdsworth/ Obt 16 Decr/ 1811 Aet 49 Yrs"; together with a gold and hairwork ring, the reverse inscribed, "EA/ FA," and a gold and hairwork oval pin.
